Argyll Biological Records Centre
Acronym: ABReCDescription
ABReC is the Biological Records Centre for vice-county 98, Main Argyll, and records, collates and provides data for the region. Our partner organisation, Lorn Natural History Group (LNHG), ran the records centre until December 2018. ABReC also accepts records from other parts of Argyll that have no records centre of their own.
Records are supplied by LNHG members, by other residents and visitors to the area, and by organisations who share data with us. LNHG and ABReC organise regular field trips and training days to improve members' identification and recording skills.
