The administrative county of Nottinghamshire and the City of Nottingham.
Purpose
The purpose of the dataset is to provides information on species distribution and for species conservation. Nottinghamshire Biodiversity Group are actively monitoring and surveying for populations of White-clawed Crayfish in the county in order to support conservation measures.
Data quality
NBGRC have confidence in the dataset. However it must be noted that this is not a comprehensive survey of species occurrence. The majority of grid references have been checked against site descriptions. The dataset has been checked using the NBN Record Cleaner.
Methods
The datasets has been complied from site surveys, observations and trapping records.
