Description
A public survey conducted by TWIC in order to determine badger and leopard slug abundance throughout the Lothians and the Scottish Borders. This survey started in 2011 and is still in progress, though its coverage has expanded to cover Falkirk, Clackmannanshire and Stirling. Please note that slug verification is still in progress.
Geographic Description
Lothians, Scottish Borders, Upper Forth area.
Purpose
To determine badger and leopard slug abundance throughout the Lothians, Scottish Borders, Falkirk, Clackmannanshire and Stirling.
Data quality
High Confidence. Data has been validated with NBN Record Cleaner. Slug data verification is still in progress and some slug records may be subject to change.
