Description
Records of 67 reported badger road kills within approximately 66 sq km study area to the south and east of Inverness during the period 28 December 1999 to 03 November 2003, the great majority along the A96 road east of the city.
Data compiled from multiple sources. Some records may have been submitted as part of other recording schemes.
Purpose
The survey provided a comprehensive snapshot of badger presence and helps inform a strategic badger conservation and development plan for Inverness which addresses spatial and temporal issues and include integrated multi-development mitigation measures for badgers.
