Description
Pit tag surveys of flapper skate and blue skate (formerly common skate) Dipturus intermedius and Dipturus batis, were carried out by NatureScot (Scottish Natural Heritage as was) and Marine Scotland in the Firth of Lorn and Sound of Jura between June 2011 and March 2020. Data were combined to produce presence of skate in 10km grid squares and the most recent observation date [DD/MM/YYYY] assigned to the record (between April 2017 and March 2020).
