Description

The complete collection of British bird skins at Leeds Museums and Galleries as of June 2021. Leeds has been collecting since 1821 and so has many historical specimens, particularly British species from the end of the 19th century. The collection is international with many families represented from across the globe. Locality data is not complete for all specimens.

Non-UK records are held in an separate dataset and shared with GBIF.
