Description
This dataset comprises over 70,000 invertebrate records collated by Trevor and the late Dilys Pendleton between 2000 and 2021 from across Nottinghamshire particularly from the heart of Sherwood. The dataset includes records from many groups including Coleoptera, Lepidoptera (both macro and micro lepidoptera), Diptera, Arachnida (including Opiliones and Pseudoscorpiones), Myriapoda and Isopoda, Heteroptera, Hymenoptera and Orthoptera.
Many of the records are supported by photographs and information found on http://www.eakringbirds.com

To promote a much greater awareness of Nottinghamshire invertebrate fauna, and to provide naturalists with a useful resource.
Data quality
All records have been identified, processed, collated and determined by Trevor and Dilys Pendleton.
